Meet Andrea

Hello, and thanks for reading here!

I am a simple country girl at heart. I love history, the smell of old books, walking quiet in the woods, enjoying laughs with good friends and most of all, falling in love with the one who saved me.

I believe that Jesus is the most un-imaginably beautiful thing my soul could ever see. I believe that He has revealed Himself to us through his word and his creation; he speaks, he makes himself known.

I long to see him. I'm searching for him. In every early morning sun, coloured leaf and shadowy forest I'm looking, searching for what can be found. In bright light and dark places, He is there. I want to see Him.

There is no place and no circumstance that can snatch me from His hand. Though my flesh and heart may fail, he is my portion and strength. "If I rise on the wings on the dawn, if I settle on the far sides of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." {Psalm 139:9}

My hope is not in a comfortable life, but in trusting that Jesus has been raised from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the father. One day he will return to set all things right and reign in glory. In this is my hope, not born of circumstance or any earthly possession, but a hope born of eternal promise.

All that I have been, am and will be, as broken and in need as I am, is for his glory. He is the master who makes beautiful things of dust, and turns despair to hope. He does not show favortism or partiality, his hands are open to all who would believe.

There is no sin He cannot forgive and no dark place he cannot reach. He is a firm foundation, the only constant, and he will keep strong until the end.

In His hands, I place my heart.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." Romans 1:20
